MOTION OF HOUSTON LIGHTING &

POWER COMPANY FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE MOTION TO COMPEL Houston Lighting & Power Company (Houston) respectfully moves for an extension of time from February 22, 1979, until March 5, 1979, to respond to the " Motion of the Department of Justice to Compel HL&P to Provide Fuller Responses to the Department's First Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents" (" Depart-ment's Motion"), dated February 6, 1979. The Department's Motion is 35 pages long and contains separate requests to compel further response to 21 of the 25 request items contained in the discovery request.

Houston needs the additional time to prepare an appropriate response.

Wherefore Houston respectfully requests that the time for responding to the Department's Motion be extended until March 5, 1979.
