Scope of Work Provide further NRC IE assistar.ce ;ad can.;ultation services as a team member in the investigation related to the determination of concrete strengths as outlined in the statement of work for TASK #4, and as specified below.

s Newly discovered material at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Station, related to this investigation, has beer sent to the Portland Cement Association Laboratory by the licensee.

.f' Page 2 of 2 further coring, sonic testing, etc., meetings between the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) and the licensee, and participation in NRC Enforcei.ent Action Hearings will require further contractor technical participation.
3.
Statement of Work a.
Review and evaluate the analysis completed by Portland Cement Association for the licensee on the newly discovered material found at the site.
b.
Participate and provide a review of your findings in a January 4, 1979 meeting in Bethesda with NRR and the licensee.
If NRR agrees with the IE position, the Contractor may be required c.
to develop further information such as concrete cores, sonic testing, etc. (at NRC's option).
d.
This investigation may result in an enforcement action against the licensee.
If the licensee appeals the action to a hearing board, the Contractor would be required to provide technical assist-ance in the preparation and explanation of that portion of the investigation in which he participated.
4.-
Report Requirements The results of the additional analysis and evaluation shall be incor-porated in the Final Report under Task Order No. 4.
5.
Cost Ceiling Delete the amount "$7,500.00" and insert the amount "$ 14,000.00."
II. Article X - Obligations, Subparagraph (a), as modified, as changed to read:
"l'he amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $6,500.00."
III. The contract amount is hereby increased by $ 6,500.00 from $113,000.00 to
$ 119,500.00 by reason of this modification.
