Washington, DC to review the technical basis of the P.C Staff Order to shut down five nuclear plants due to some safety-related piping systems being in nonconformance with NRC requirements for withstanding earthqJakes.
In accordance with the procedures ' outlined in the Federal Register on October 4, 1978, (43 FR 45926), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be parnitted only during those prtions of the meeting when a transcript is being keet, and cuestions may be asked only Persons desiring by mcmbers of the Subco=nittee, its consultants, and Staff.

The Subcommittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of its consultants who may be present, to explore and exchange their prelimi-nary opinions regarding patters which should be considered during the meeting.
