This is in response to your letter RJG 79-110, dated April 9,1979.
We have reviewed the alternate measures proposed in your letter and have determined that they do not decrease the effectiveness of your Physical Protection Plan. Accordingly, we are hereby suspending for the period April 11 to April 21, 1979, or until excavation operations are completed, that portion of License Condition 9.3.20 to Materials and Plant Protection Amendment MPP-2 to your License No. SNM-777 which requires search of all vehicles entering the Protected Area. This limited suspension applies ucly to those vehicles involved in the excavation operation and is subject to all of the commitments described in your letter of April 9,1979.
