APPLICATION FOR FACILITY EXPORT LICENSE r

Please take notice that Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission en application for a license to. authorize the export of two (2) power reactors with a thermal power level of 2,785 megawatts each to the Korea Electric Company and that the issuance of this license is under consideration by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

No license authorizing export of the reactors will be issued until the Nuclea:- Regulatory Commission determines that the export is within the scope of and consistent with the terms of a.n agreement for cooperation arranged pursuant to Section 123 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (Act), nor until the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has found that-(a) The export complies with the requirements of the Act and tne Commission's regulations set forth in 10 CFR, Chapter 1, and 1

(b)

The reactors proposed to be exported are utilization facilities as defined in the Act and the Commission's

regulations.

Unless v tl.in 30 days after the publication of this notice in d

the FEDERAL REGISTER, a request for a hearing is filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, or a petition for leave to intervene is filed by any person whost interest may be affected by the proceeding, the Director of the Office of International Programs may, upon making the determinations and findings noted above, cause to be issued to Westinghouse Electric Corporation a facility axport license and cause to be published in the FEDEPAL REGISTER a notice of issuance of the license.

If a request for a hearing or a petition for leave to intervene is filed within the time prescribed in this notice, te Nuclear Regulatory Commission will issue a notice of hearing or an approoriate order.

A copy of the application is on file in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Public Document Room located at 1717 H Street, N.W.,
