9 DETERMINATION MEETING OF THE ACRS ARCHITECT-ENGINEER BALANCE OF PLANT SUBCOMMITTEE JANUARY 26, 1979 I have reviewed the memorandum of January 4, 1979, to me from Richard K. Major (designated Federal employee), Ad-visory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS), concerning the referenced meeting.
I hereby determine, in accordance with subsection 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, that discussion of the tentative agenda items discussed in that memorandum will involve matters which fall within exemption (4) of 5 U.S.C.
552b(c); that it is essential to close those portions of the meeting to protect confidential proprietary infor-mation; and that any nonexempt material that may be dis-cussed in these closed sessions will be inextricably inter-twined with the discussion of exempt material and no farther separation is considered practical.
