Docket flo. 99900401/79-01 NOTICE OF DEVIATIO?l Based on the results of a NRC inspection conducted on January 9-12, 1979, it appeared that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with flRC requirements as indicated below:
A.
10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion V, Instructions, Procedures and Drawings, states in part, " Activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions, procedures and drawings...
and shall be accomplished in accordance with these instructions, procedures and drawings."
CE implementing procedure QAP 18.1, entitled " Internal Audits" states in part (Section 4.6.1), " Audit reports shall be issued within thirty (30) days after the post-audit conference."
Contrary to the above, three of the six audit reports for internal audits conducted by Group quality Systems in 1978, were not published thirty (30) days after the post-audit conference.

10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion XVi, Corrective Action, states in part:
" Measures shall be established to assure that conditions adverse to quality,... are promp tly identified and corrected."
To assure i. hat identified adverse canditions are promptly corrected, Corrective Action Reports (CARS) a' e issued that require the condition to be corrected or a com1itment for corrective action, either of v.;ch must be provided within thirty (30) days following the issuance of the CAR.

Contrary to the above, a response (providing cccrective action or a comitment for same) to Corrective Accion Rep 3rt QC-CAR-73-017, dated April 18, 1978, has not been received as t ' January 11, 1979.
