The Nuclear Regulatory Connission Staff has recently become aware of a i
document which contains information potentially relevant to the issue of sabotage of spent nuclear fuel. The document is classified as national i
security information and is in draft forn.
It is uncertain that a final version will ever be published. The sabotage issue was the subject of I
an earlier letter dated January 18, 1979 to this Coard which transnitted certain Conaission reports and a copy of SAND 77-1927 entitled " Transport of Radionuclides in Urban Environs:
Ucrking Draft Assessment".
A copy of the transmittal memorandum,f/ unclassified, is attached for the information of the Board and the parties.
