PROPOSED ISS'JANCE OF AMENDMENT TO PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE The United State Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Ccamissf or) is considering issuance of an amendment to Provisional Operating License ko.
DPR-19 issued to Commonwealth Edison Company (the licensee), for operation of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2, located in'Grundy County, Illinois.
The amendment would revise the provisions in the Technical Specifications relating to the use of 8 x 8R type fue'l assemblies for Reload 4, Cycle 7, in accordance with the ficensee's application for amendment dated January 15, 1979.
Prior to issuance of the proposed license amendment, the Commission will have made findings required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Commission's regulations.

, the licensee may file a request for a hearing with respect to issuance of the amendment to the subject provisional operating license and any person whose interest may be affected by this proceeding and who wishes to participate as a party in the proceeding must file a written petition for leave to intervene.
