It has come to my attention that the subject IE Inspection Report contains some misleading terminology which we feel could create a wrong impression in the reader's mind.

In Unresolved Item (358/78-03-06), page 3 of the report, three references are made to RPV, which could lead one to believe that the reactor pressure vessel was the subject of discussion. This is not the case. The unresolved item involved only the core structure.

It is requested that the confusing terminology be clarified for the public record.

This clarification has been discussed with Mr. K. Naidu and has his concurrence.
