December 1,1981 Note tn Files From: Steve Burns EE PETITIONS HANDLED UNDER 10 CFR 2.206 SINCE INCEPTION OF REGULATION The following compilation is based en Rulemaking and Enforcement Division's files and reflects tht petitions handled under 10 CFR 2.206 since the regulation's promulgation in 1974 through December 1,1981.
Petitions are grouped by year of receipt. The listing indicates the staff office responsic' - for acting on the petition, the name of the petitioner, the facility or license which is the subject of the request, and the date of the action which granted or denied the petition.
For petitions denied in whole or in part since 1979, the "DD" nunber is given which refers to the chronological number assigned to Director's decisions (only full or partial denials) that are published in the
" Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issuances. The designation "G" or "PG '
in the "Date of Action" column indicates petitions granted wholly (G) or partially (PG). The oesignation "DL" in the " Responsible Office' colunn refers tc the AEC's Directorate of Licensing, the predecessor to NRR.
"R0" refers to the AEC's Directorate of Regulatory Operations, the predecessor to I&E.
