ocket No. 50-289 License No. DPR-50 M 13 E74 NOTE TO FILES On May 30, 1974, I discussed Technical Specification 3.5.2.5 (Control Rod Positions) with L. Spessard of R0-I and D. Grace of Metropolitan Edison Company. The core imbalance requirements section (3.5.2.5.d) does not explicitly exempt physics testing.
I pointed out that this is an editorial oversight; the Technical Specifications of this plant as well as others of this type were intended to include the physics testing exemption on each of the control rod position limiting conditions.
This section will be corrected at the first opportunity.
