Review Status: Complete In accordance with your request the Structural Engineering Branch, Directorate of Licensing, has reviewed and evaluated structural sections of the applicant's report:

" Reactor Containment Building; Ring Girder Surveillance Test Six Months After S.I.T." dated November 8, 1974.

In accordance with the requirements of Three Mile Island Unit fl Technical Specification the applicant has submitted the report cited above describing the surveillance tests performed on the ring gircer; these tests are of particular importance due to the repairs required during construction of the structure.

The applicant's conclusion is that the ring girder is perfoming fa accordance with the desion critaria and that present surveillance tests conform with the pre-vious commitments contained in tne " Report on Containexent Ring Girder Construction and Repair," and its subsequent addenda, originally filed December 3,1971 with the Directorate of Licensing; they also comply with the requirements of Technical Specification.

We concur with these conclusions.
