Dear Ms. Rutland:
This is in further response to your letter to Mr. Darrell Eisenhut dated May 11, 1979, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, documents compiled by NRC's Mechanical Engineering Branch and Materials Engineering Branch for IE Bulletins 78-12,78-12A, and 78-128, and other information regarding atypical weld materials in Babcock and Wilcox reactors.
Enclosed are documents which are listed on the attached Appendix A.
Also enclosed is a copy of your May 11, 1979 letter which you have requested.
In a telephone conversation on August 16, 1979 with Mr. Jacob Zamansky of my staff, Mr. Don Fields of your office agreed that you would pay reproduction costs for the enclosed documents relating to atypical weld materials in nuclear reactors.
The charge for reproducing these records is ten cents ($0.10) per page, as specified in 10 CFR 9.14(b).
Accordingly, the cost of re goducing the enclosed 1,279 pages is $127.90.
Please send a check for this amount made payable to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, along with a copy of this letter, to the Director, Division of Rules and Records, U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, DC 20555.
This completes action on your request.
