This refers to your application received February 23, 1979 requesting an amendment to the Model No. 6244 packaging.

In connection with our review, revise the package drawings to specify the material to be used for the containment vessel closure bolts and other noted changes. Show that the prescribed torque is sufficient to maintain the containment vessel seal when the package is subjected to the Normal and Accident Condition Tests in 10 CFF Part 71.

Please advise us within thirty (30) days from the date of this letter when this information will be 'rovided. The additional information requested by this letter and pr.viously provided should be submitted in the form of revised pages to the original Safety Analysis Report in order to preserve the continuity of your application.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, we will be pleased to meet with you and your staff.
