Korea Nuclear Fuel Export License Application Gentlemen:

We hereby apply for a nuclear material export license for the supply of nuclear fuel for the Korea Electric Company KNU 5 and 6 utilization facilities, for?.erly known as Kori 3 and 4 on license XR-131. The location of these facilities is on the southeast of the Korean Peninsula bordering the east sea approximately nineteen (19) miles northeast of Pusan on a point known as Kodang Mal.

The nuclear fuel for KNU-5 is scheduled to ship in June 1983 with the last shipment for KNU-6 scheduled to ship December 2026. However, because of the ExIm Bank financing requirement that an export license be issued prior to any disbursement of funds, we are requesting that the license be issued prior to September 1979.

Your consideration to this application request is appreciated. Please contact me should you have any questions concerning this application.

Very truly yours,

/ -m 9)
