Ginna Station Site Security Contingency Plan Revised Chapter 8 Ginna Station Modified Amended Security Plan (MASP)
Dear Mr. Denton:
The enclosed revised Chapter 8 of the recently approved Ginna Station Modified Amended Security Plan is submitted in compliance with Appendix C to 10 CFR Part 73.
Chapter 8 has been revised to contain the following categories of information:

Generic Planning Base 3.
Licensee Planning Base 4.
Responsibility Matrices 5.
Implementing Procedures Implementing Procedures, Category 5, are not included with this submittal but are maintained on the station site for inspection and review in keeping with the direction provided by Appendix C.
We would like to take thit opportunity to state our position on the implementation of the Contingency Plan. 10 CFR 73.40(b) states that "For nuclear power plants, the (Contingency) plan shall become effective 30 days after approval by the Commission." To this end, it is our intention to implement the training for this Contingency Plan only insofar as the training required fer implementation coincides with the training outlined in Section 1.4.3 " Training," in our approved Security Plan. Any additional training required for implementation will be perfccmed in acccrdance with 10 CFR 73.55 Appendix B and will be accomplished within 2 years after Commission approval of our Training Phn, which will be submitted to the y
