The last paragraph of the subject memo states, "The Office of International i
Programs was informed of the Commission decision by telephone on February 2, 1979 and Commissioner Bradford's subsequent response on February 14, i

In fact, my staff is sure that they told your office of my l
positinn on February 2nd, before OIP was informed of the Commission
{
decision.
Consequently, I have to take some issue with your characterizing l
my response as " subsequent."
i I was quite prepared to write off the February 2nd error in stating my position as a failure of communication of some sort.
However, I do want to indicate that I do not accept the February 27 statement that the I
first indication given of my position did not occur until February 14.
