We received your letter of February 20, 1979, which transmitted your. security training and qualification plan in accordance with Appendix B of Part 73.
The licensing review of your plan will be processed as an amendment to License SNM-1227. A major safeguards amendment fee of $13,800 is therefore required as specified in fee Category 1C of Section 170.31 of Part 170, copy enclosed.
Payment should be made to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and mailed to my attention.
When submitting the fee, please refer to CONTROL NUMBER 12070.
Please note Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of Section 170.31, which provide that upon ccmpletion of the licensing review, the Commission will review its expenditures for professional manpower and appropriate support services; recompute the amendment fee, and, if necessary, refund any overcharges.
