ORDER RELATIVE TO GENERIC SAFETY ISSUES On February 13,1979, : shortly before the record was closed on the seismic issue, the Board received a submittal from the NRC Staff on generic safety issues.
The Board deferred its consideration of the documer.tation until after the record was closed and it was no longer involved in an intense evidentiary hearing.
The Board has determined that the documentation furnished by the Staff has satisfied the Board's concern on all issues except on ATWS (Anticipated Transients Without Scram) or Generic Safety Issue A9.
This matter is still unresolved

The Board will review the ATWS question after it receives adequate documentation from the Staff.
