This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Harry C. Harrison of this office on October 27, 1978, of the activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 35-13735-01 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Harrison with Messrs. McCarthy, Harrington, Wilkinson, and Cash on October 27, 1978.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license.
The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measure-ments and observations by the inspector.
No items of noncompliance with URC requirements were found during the inspec tion.
Mr. Harrison also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to two items of noncompliance observed during our previous inspection, which was conducted August 24 and 25,1977.
He verified that the corrective action with respect to these items was implemented as stated in your reply of September 23, 1977 to our letter dated Septenber 13, 1977.
