l:'jp Federal Register Notice NUCLEAR REGUIATORY COMMISSION ADVISORY CCMMITTEE ON REAC'IOR SAFEGUARDS SUBCCEMITTEE ON REACIOR FUEL Notice of Meeting The ACRS Subcommittee on Reactor Fuel will hold an open meeting on June 11 and 12, 1979, in Room 1046, 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20555 to dis-cuss the current and proposed NRC research programs in the area of fuel behavior for consideration of a report to Congress on NRC research. Notice of this meet-ing was published on April 20,1979 (44 FR 23609).
In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on October 4, 1978, (43 FR 45926), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcomittee, its consultants, and Staff.
Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the Designated Federal Employee as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements.
The agenda for subject meeting shall be as follows:
Monday, June 11 and Tuesday, June 12, 1979 8:30 a.m. un:il the conclusion of business sach day.
'Ihe Subcomittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of its consultants who may be present, to explore and excharge their prelimi-nary opinions regarding matters which should be considered during the meeting and to formulate a report and recommendations to the full Con-mittee.

. At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Subcomittee will hold discussions with representatives of the NRC Staff, and their consultants, pertir.ent to this review. 'Ihe Subconmittee may then caucus to determine whether the matters identified in the initial session have x
been adequately covered and whether the subject is ready for review by by the full Comittee.
