Personally appeared before the undersigned officer, duly authorized by law to administer oaths, ALAN SILVERBERG, who, af ter being duly sworn on oath, deposes and says as follows:
1.
I reside at 804 Jane Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501.
I reside within 50 miles of the Edwin I. Hatch Plants located near Baxley, Georgia.
I believe the plants are actually about 44 miles from my house.
2.
I am a member of Georgians Against Nuclear Energy (GANE).
I have reviewed GANE's Petition for Leave to Intervene in the plan to increase the spent fuel storage capacity at the Hatch Plants.
I am concerned about potential hea.'.th, safety and i179 298 7910100 /2 0
environmental problems related to the expansion.
GANE will represent these concerns better than I, myself, could.
I authorize GANE to represent me in this proceeding.

This Af fidavit is madr. for the purpose of satisfying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that GANE has membership residing within fif ty miles of the Hatch Plants that is concerned about the expansion of the spent fuel storage site.
