FCTR: RHO 71-0098 Quality Assurance Program Description Gentlemen:
Submitted herewith is a comprehensive description of the Newport News Shipbuilding Quality Assurance Program for Industrial Radiography and how that program fulfills the requirements of 10CFR 71.51.
The outline provided by your letter of August 13, 1979, and subsequent conversations with Mr. Liederbach, proved to be invaluable in clarifying what the commission expects in the way of program d.sseriptions.
Please revise our submittal of June 27, 1978 to include this program description noting that Quality assurance Instruction 020.2 is a sample of the type of detailed instruction used to implement cur program.
