Dear Dr. Denton:

Per Reference (a), the NRC Staff requested Commonwealth Edison Company to submit a proposed secondary water chemistry pro-gram for its Byron and Braidwood Stations.

Attachments 1 and 2 to this letter contain Commonwealth Edison's proposed programs for the Eyron and Braidwood Stations, respectively.

Both programs incorporate the requirements of the NRC Staff's Model License Condition contained in the enclosure to Reference (a).

Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
