Environmental Qualification of Class 1E Equipment Reference (b) requires us to report any items which do not meet qualification requirements for the intended service. This report is required to be made within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of identification of such conditions.
k'c have identified two cables associated with the pressurizer pressure transmitters which are not qualified for the anticipated environment.
Since the plant is presently in a cold shutdown condition, we plan to replace these two cables with gut.lified cables prior to plant start-up.
k'c believe that this letter satisfies the intent of both the 24 hour2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> and the 14 day report.
