This refers to your applic'ation dated May 16, 1978 reques' ting approval of Commonwealth Edison Company's ICE) Quality Assurance (QA) program to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 871.9 As noted in your application, CE has elected to utilize the operational QA program which is described in the QA Topical Report, CE-1-1 A, Revision 4, and is applicable to all CE's operating nuclear plants. Since the staff has accepted a later revision to this report, it is requested that CE reference Revision 6 to CE-1-1 A.
Please submit seven copies of your response to this request within 30 days following receipt of this letter.
