Amendment A-1 to SAR for Instrumented CRD's
Dear Sir:
Enclosed is Amendment A-1 to the Safety Analysis Report (SAR) for the Instrumented Control Rod Drives (ICRD's). The amendment includes analysis to support locating the two ICRD's in regions 5 and 35 of the Fort St. Vrain core.
In addition, flow data is provided to document flow characteristics of the ICRD assemblies in the control rod channels.
Figures 1 and 2 of the SAR, large engineering drawings, are not being included as they remain unchanged and have been previously transmitted to the NRC.
