ORDER In their February 1,1979 response to the pleading filed January 19, 1979 by Mr. David Marke, the Applicants have raised serious questions concerning the qualifications which Mr. Marke has advanced in support of our awarding him intervention as a matter of discretion (see Applicants' response, pp. 7-8).

Because of the representations made by Mr. Marke respecting his qualifications (see, e.g., December 26, 1978 supplemental petition, pp.14-16; prehearing conference Tr. 58; January 19, 1979 supplementary petition, pp.12-14), the Board wishes to be apprised of further details concerning such qualifications.

Specifically, Mr. Marke should advise us of the particular collegiate degrees he has been awarded, the dates of such awards, the precise name of the institution and/or department 7902220 $

' awarding the degree, and his dates of attendance at vacicus collegiate institutions.

If readily available, we should be furnished a copy of relevant diplomas or official transcripts.

In addition, details concerning Mr. Marke's past employment and experience (including organizations by which employed, location, dates, and supervisors) should also be supplied.

Finally, we request Mr. Marke to provide us with a copy of his resume, which should indicate in some detail where his published articles can be located.

(If those crticles are not readily obtainable, copies of at least a representative sample should also be furnished us.)

This material should be filed no later than Friday, February 16, 1979.

Copies should of course be served on other parties to the proceeding --- i.e., the Applicants and NRC Staff.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
