Mr. A. Schwencer, Chief Operating Reactors Branch #1 Division of Operating Reactors U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C.

Dear Sir:
Pursuant to telephone conversatior.s with members of your staff, we are forwarding three signed and 40 copies of this letter regarding corrections to be made to License Change Application 26.
The " Reason for Change" in our original submittal of License Change Application 26 stated that our "ISI program must be updated to the code then specified in 10 CFR 50.55a(b) by October 1978".
In addition, our letter of May 26, 1976 (A. J. Porter to R. A. Purple) stated that "our next 40 month inspection interval begins on April 30, 1979" which implies that our 6 month submittal date, prior to the next 40 month inspection interval would be on October 30, 1978. These dates (October 30, 1978 and April 30, 1979) were erroneously based upon a commercial operation date of December 31, 1975, when in fact, the actual commercial operation date for the Trojan Nuclear Plant is May 20, 1976.
As such, our next 40 month inspection interval does not begin until September 20, 1979 with the 6 month submittal date being March 20, 1979.
We are presently preparing a revision to License Change Applica-tion 26 incorporating the questions and concerns raised in your letter of March 16, 1978 and addressing the standard information transmitted by your letter of January 13, 1978. This revision to License Change o\\
