Correction to Seabrook Advice Letter TOs Ronald H. Clark In reviewing our recent advice letter on the Seabrock Nuclear Generating Station to Howard K.
Shapar, Executive Legal Director of the NRC, I discovered an inadvertent mistake.
In a previous recent advice letter, Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Co. (MMWEC) had undergone successful antitrust review.
Also in that same letter, the Central Maine Power Company had also passed affirmative review.
I confused Central Maine with Maine Public Service Company, and indicated that both had undergone successful antitrust review.
While this error had no effect on our decision to recommend that an antitrust hearing not be held, we normally include past advice letters merely as background to the advice therein being rendered, I felt that it should be corrected.
In conversation with Mr. Shapar, he indicated that tne best manner of correcting the mistake would be to indicate the oversight in a short note signed by John Shenerield.
I have drafted such a letter, which is attacned.
