Dear Mr. Wallin:
This is in response to your letter dated December 4,1978 in which
you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy
of all notes and records with regard to a meeting between NRC
officials and Iowa Electric Light & Power Company on October 19, 1976.
Your request was received by the Office of Administration cn December
12, 1978.
The NRC has placed documents relating to the Iowa Electric Light &
Power Company's Duane Arnold Energy Center in the NRC Local Public
Document Room (LPDR) established at the Cedar Rapids Public Library,
426 Third Avenue, S.E., Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Specifically, information
regarding the October 19, 1976 meeting between officials of NRC and
Io9ta Electric Light & Power Company is contained in Inspectior Report
No. 50-331/76-23 and in a letter dated October 28, 1976 from
J. G. Keppler to Iowa Electric Light & Power Company. These documents
have been sent to the LPDR.
