I regret to request a second extension of time for filing the promised report of our former board in the special proceeding in Consumers Power Company (Midland Plants) bearing upon possible regulatory improvements for handling disciplinary matters. Priority given to other NRC matters has been a major factor in begging off the target date of May 7 for filing this report.
I hope June 15 would be an acceptable new time for submitting the report, including the written views of counsel who represented the parties in the special proceeding.
