Thank you for your letter of July 28, 1978, in response to our letter dated June 23, 1978.
As a result of our review, we find that additional information is needed on the following items.
D.
Please describe how the stated instructions relative to the Welding Supervisor will be documented to provide a record of corrective action. Also please clarify whether the com-mitment relative to internal audits has been or will be im-plemented on a formalized basis, i.e., as a documented internal audit requirement.
E.
Please identify wSat is meant by " spot internal audits" and describe how~ such activities will be controlled as a QA program ra. qui rement.
G.
Your response fails to describe any specific actions that have been taken, which would assure preparation and qualification of welding procedure specifications in accordance with the essential variables contained in the ASME Code. Please respond accordingly, including the dates such actions were or will be completed.
