Dear Mr. Rouce:
I understand that the NRC has been considering issuance of an amendment to Materials License No. SNM-1773 issued to Duke Power Company.
The proposed amendment would authorize the receipt and storage of Oconee Nuclear Station's spent fuel at the McGuire Facility located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, in accordance with the licensee's application for amendment dated March 9, 1978.
I would like to know the status of that proposed amendment.
It is Docket No. 7 0-2 6 M.
Thank you for your prompt response.
Sincerely yours, a
Rayr.on E.
