This letter is in response to your IE Bulletin No. 79-04 titled,

" Incorrect Weights for Swing Check Valves Manufactured by Velan Engineering Corporation."

There are no swing check valves manufacturcd by Velan Engineering Corporation incorporated in the Nuclear Steam Supply System for Bailly GenerSting Station, Nuclear 1. No other swing check valves have been purchased for the Station. Northern Indiana Public Service Company has never solicited proposals from the Velan Engineering Corporation for swing check valves which were to be incorporated in the Bailly Station.
