NRC IE BULLETIN NO.78-12B ATYPICAL WELD MATERIAL lh REACTOR PRESSURE VESSEL NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION We have reviewed NRC Bulletins No. 78-12, -12A and -12B and are investigating the areas that require responses.
We are presently evaluating information from our Hope Creek NSSS Contractor, General Electric.
However, due to the extensive investigation required we anticipate an additional thirty (30) days will be needed to complete the evaluntion.
It is therefore requested that an extension to July 6, 1979 be granted.
