Base Reactivity Curve Cycle 2 Gentlemen:

Per the requirements of LCO 4.1.8 of the Fort St. Vrain Technical Specifi-cations, I am forwarding the base reactivity for cycle 2.

The calculated base reactivity curve was obtained utilizing the four group GAUCE code. The increase (to nore negative values) in the base reactivity for cycle 2 beyond about 2 x 106 Wd(t) is primarily due to fuel depletion and fission product poison build-up.

The base reactivity curve has been reviewed and approved by our Nuclear Facility Safety Co=mittee in accordance with Technical Specification requiremento.
