Dear Mr. McCorkle,
Enclosed is document XN-NF-503, " Security Training and Qualification Plan for the Exxon Nuclear Mixed Oxide and Speciality Fuels Plant",
pursuant to the new requirements of 10 CFR 73.50(b) which were effect-ive October 23, 1978.
Please note that this report reflects certain organizational and other s changes which have been made since issuance of the last revision (No. 5) of our physical protection plan, XN-183.
Specifically, we have added the position of Supervisor, Security underneath the Manager, Plant Sec urity. Also, the facility covered by our security plan is now called the " Mixed Oxide and Speciality Fuels Plant".
I am calling your attention to these changes to avoid any confusion. When Revision 6 of XN-183 is issued, planned for after the " Fixed Site Security Upgrade Rule" is promulgated, these changes will be made.
The document XN-NF-503 contains inforcation which is considered proprie-tary in accordance with the provision of 10 CFR 2.790(d) and shall be withheld from public disclosure.
