TIIE DETROIT EDISON COMPANY (Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant Unit No. 2) Docket No. 50-341 APPLICATION TO WITIIIIOLD INFORMATION FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE Pursuant to Section 2.790 (b) (1) of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("the Commission"), the Detroit Edison Company, Applicant in the above captioned proceeding, submits this Application To Withhold Information fron Public Disclosure. This information is being provided by General Electric in response to questions raised by the Regulatory Staff. Applicant has been informed by General Electric Company that this information is owned by General Electric Company and that in the opinion of General Electric Company the information in question contains trade secrets and/or privileged or confidential commercial or financial information exempt fron public disclosure under Section 9. 5 (a) (4) of the Commission's regulations.

An attached affidavit executed by Glenn G. Sherwood, Manager of Safety and Licensing, General Electric Company, justifies the information sought to be withheld and sets forth the bases on which the information may be withheld fron public disclosure by the Commission. The affidavit addresses with specificity the considerations listed in Paragraph (b) (4) of Section 2.790.
