Enclosed are fifteen (15) copies of the Shoreham-unique response to NRC Question 020.68 concerning pool swell height.
This revision supersedes our prior response to that question which was submitted via letter SNRC-309 on July 28, 1978 and subse'quently included in Revision 3 of the Shoreham Plant Design Assessment Report.
The response enclosed herewith establishes the maximum pool swell height for Shoreham using the methodology outlined in the Mark II generic response to Question 020.68, which was submitted June 30, 1978.
Comparisons with the 4T test data have been included to demonstrate conservatism in the generic method and its application to Shoreham.
Tables 020.68-1, 2, and 3 as well as Figures 020.68-1, 12, and 13 of the attached document are identified as General Electric Company Proprietary.
These tables and figures contain information obtained from the Mark II 4T test program which was documented in General Electric proprietary reports NEDE-13442-P and NEDE-13468-P.

Sherwood, dated January 26, 1977 and June 20, 1977, the General Electric request to maintain these reports as proprietary pursuant to Section 2.790 of 10CFR, Part 2, was approved.
There-fore, it is requested that the above noted tables and figures be likewise treated as General Electric Company Proprietary under the request approval granted above.
