CP,GR MEETING NUMBER 34 The Comittee to Review Generic Requirements will meet on Wednesday, April 20, 1983 from 1-5 p.m. in Room 6507 MNBB.

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. - As requested by HMSS, the-CRGR will be briefed by R. Browning (HMSS) regarding the enclosed NMSS Low-Level Waste Licensing Branch Proposed Technical Positions concerning Waste Form. Classification.
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - As requested by the Comittee to Review Safeguards Requirements at Power Reactors, the CRGR will be briefed by J. Partlow (IE) concerning the Committee's findings and recomendations. A copy of the Comittee's report and a related action plan are enclosed.
3:00 - 4:00 p.m. - As requested by RES, the CRGR will be briefed by M. Ernst (RES) concerning ATWS rulemaking activities.
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - As requested by IE, R. Beer (IE) will present for CRGR review, the enclosed proposed IE Bulletin titled ASME Nuclear Code Pumps and Spare Parts Manufactured by the Hayward Tyler Pump Company.
Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) assuring that the information reouired for CRGR review.is provided to the Comittee (CRGR Charter - IV.B), (2) coordinating and presenting views of other offices, (3) as appropriate, assuring that other offices are represented during the. presentation, and (4) assuring that agenda codifications are

With regard to attendance at CRGR meetings, I re-quest that Office Directors limit attendance of their staffs at CRGR meetings"t-o those few senior staff needed to address the agenda item under discussion. As a minimum, Division Directors or higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview.
