Subject:

Nuclear Power Plants Dear Director and Commissioners-Your recent decision to stos issuing permits and licenses for nuclear power plants was impt..sive and ill-timed for our country.

When the " fanatic" of Iran plays such a role in hurting the USA by intimadating us world wide with his current tactics and cut-off of oil supplies it is evident to us that you too are playing into his hands by not developing our capabilities of producing power through nuclear energy.

Now is the time to go forward with our nations nuclear plants.

Even the accident at Three Mile Island should be looked at as a lesson and has been by the industry and even safer plants can be constructed. A one by one approval program should continue - not stop.

Your decision is not the American way.

Very truly yours, m
