I I have been asked by a constituent of mine, Ms. Vicki Dierig, to obtain some information from the Nuclear Regulatory Comission on the transportation of uranium 235 across Kentucky to the Zimer E
nuclear power plant in Ohio. Specifically, she would like to know:
- 1) how much is being shipped;
- 2) why the uranium is being shipped if the Zimer nuclear power plant does not have an operating license yet; and
- 3) what is being done to protect the people and environment F
where this material is being shipped.
