This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Mustain of this office on April 10,1979, of the activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material Licenst No. 35-00313-03 and t) the discussion of our findings held by Mr.

Mustair with Dr. Miller on April 10, 1979.

The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license.

The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measure-ments and observations by the inspector.

No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were found during the inspec-tion.

Mr. Mustain also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to one item of noncompliance observed during our previous inspection, which was conducted April 15,1976.

He verified that the corrective action with respect to this item was implemented as stated in your reply of May 6,1976, to our letter dated April 27, 1976.
