J' Docket Nos. 50-445A and 50-446A N Gentlemen:

This is the April, 1979 monthly discovery report for South Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. (STEC) and Medina Electric Coop-erative, Inc. (MEC) in the above referenced proceedings.

On April 13, 1979, STEC/MEC filed an Answer in Opposition to a Motion filed by the Public Utilities Board of the City of Brownsville, Texas (Brownsville) asking the Board to compel STEC/

MEC to provide further documentation in response to interrogatories propounded to STEC/MEC by Brownsville on January 31, 1979. By Order issued April 23, 1979, the Board denied Brownsville's April 5, 1979 Motion.

STEC/MEC neither initiated nor received any new discovery requests during the month of April, 1979.

Very truly yours,}Q j}6 N DouglakF. Jo Counsel for South Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Medina Electric Cooperative, Inc. DFJ:ks 7 90623 Olf/ *
