Nuclear Jest Reactor License Renewal

License R-33, Docket 50-73 Gentlemen:
The General Electric Company, Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC), currently operates the General Electric Nuclear Test Reactor (NTR) pursuant to License R-33 (Ref.). As this license expires on July 21, 1979, General Electric requests that License R-33 be renewed until October 31, 1997.
This date was chosen as the original license was issued on October 31, 1957, and this extension period will complete the normal forty-year term of a reactor license.

R-33 (Docket 50-73), TR-1 (Docket 50-70), DPR-1 (Docket 50-18), DR-10 (Docket 50-183),
