ANSWER 1(a). The TU Companies are aware of only the following requests. With respect to Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, Inc. and El Paso Electric Cooperative, see items 1.b and 1.h of the Information Required for the Antitrust Review of TUGCO's Operating License Application.in the Matter of Texas Utilities Generatina Comcany, Docket Nos. 50-445 and 50-446. With regard to Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative, Inc., Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Wood County Electric Cooperative, Inc., see TUGCO's response to Question No. 13 of the information submitted for antitrust review at the construction Jermit stage. These entities came to TP&L as a group in 1972-73, each request-ing TP&L to supply certain loads then and now supplied by South West Electric Power Company, commencing in 1975; TP&L offered the requested service in January, 1973 but the offer was not pursued by the three cooperatives. The addresses of the three cooperatives referred to immediately above are: Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative, Inc. Box 47 Douglassville, Texas 75560 Upshur-Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. P.O. Box 70 Gilmer, Texas 75644 Wood County Electric Cooperative, Inc. P.O. Box 398 i Quitman, Texas 75783 See also the response to Interrogatory No. 22. 1(e). Details regarding the inquiries referred to in 2259 233 this supplement to Question 1(a) are found in the related documents, which will be made available at an agreed time and place. INTERROGATORY NO. 16. " (a) State for every wholesale customer of TU: the full name of title of the customer; complete address of the customer; and the amount of wholesale power purchased by that customer by year for the period 1950-1978. (b) State all requests received by. TU for wholesale service whether or not such service was ever provided, specifying when the request was received, by whom the request was made, and whether the requesting party was at the time of the request engaged in interstate commerce. (c) Provide all documents relating to the resconse to this interrocatorv." ANSWER:

16. (a)

See documents attached hereto. DPL has no wholesale customers. (b) - (c) The identity of persons making requests or inquiries for wholesale service where such service has been provided is contained in the information attached hereto in response to 16 (a). The following information is provided to the extent of our knowledge and after having made a reasonable inquiry of records and responsible personnel at the TU Companies with respect to inquiries relating to possible wholesale service. In 1971-1972, Brazos Electric Power Cooperative requested TP&L to quote on 200 megawatts of firm power beginning in 1975; TP&L offered the requested service, but the offer was not accepted (BEPC proceeded with arrangements for its own generation). The City of Electra, Texas in 1977 inquired of TESCO regarding the possibility of wholesale service. The City of Seymour, Texas, requested (1978) wholesale service from TISCO; and Century Power & Light Company of Athens, Texas (1976), McCulloch Electric 2259 234

Cooperative of Brady, Texas (1973-74), Pedernales Electric Cooperative of Johnson City, Texas (1972-73), Cherokee County Electric Cooperative, and the Cities of Sanger, Texas (1976-1977) and Commerce, Texas (1978), have investigated and inquired of TPL with respect to the possibility of obtaining wholesale Documents relating to those inquiries as well as docu-service. ments relating to wholesale contracts referred to in 16(a) above will be made available at an agreed time and place. With regard to entities in or supplied by those in interstate commerce, see also answer to Interrogatory 1(a) above. Respectfully submitted, Jos. Irion Worsham, Esq. M.D. Sampels, Esq. Spencer C.
