Dear Mr. Chilk:
The captioned matter is now pending before the Commission pursuant to 10 CFR S2.786 following the issuance of the Appeal Board's decision dated January 12, 1979 (ALAB-518).
On January 19, we learned that the Federal Energy Regula-tory Commission on January 10 rejected the application filed in July 1975 by Tenneco LNG, Inc. to build a liquified natural gas terminal at West Deptford, New Jersey.
The Commission has not yet published its order.
Accordingly, we are transmitting a copy of its press release dated January 15, 1979 for your information (see pages 2-3).
We will provide a copy of the order as soon as it is available.
