Dear Mr. Violette:
In March 197G, the Cechtei Pc + Corporation ssaitted a prcposed revisien 3 to BQ-TCP-1, "Cechtel Quality Assurance Program fcr riuclear Pc,;er Plan?.s" tnat included crganizational changes and ot'ier modifications of Bechtel's quali y assurance program for NRC review.
In Acril 1973, the liRC issued a request fcr additicnal infomaticn relative to the proposed revisic13, and a meetir.g was held en June 1,1970 to discuss the IRC request and Cichtel's suggested response. A second meeting was held on July 7,1978 to review the draft of an internal Bechtel menorandum which sux.arized the results of the June meeting. Since then, we have heard nothing with respect to the proposed revision 3.
Please inform us of Bechtel's plans relative to tne proposed revisicn to its quality assurance progran for nuclear pcwor plants.
If Bechtel intends to revise and resubilt the proposed revision 3, clease provide a da'.s at which we can expect copies for review.
